Apoptosis - a type of cell death, and autophagy that acts on maintenance of survival are involved in the same factor in a cell. We are studying the mechanism that distinguish life and death. We are also researching on the inducer of apoptosis and autophagy , its identification and analysis of mechanism.
Elucidation of the mechanism of apoptotic cell phagocytosis
The removal of unnecessary cells by phagocytosis is indispensable for health maintenance. We are studying the improvement of phagocytosis of phagocytic cells and the mechanism of phagocytosis primarily in apoptotic cells.
Elucidation of the mechanism of skin differentiation
It has been found that the skin moisturizers relative factor is related to enzyme that correlates with cell death. We are doing research about maintenance of skin constancy caused by this enzyme and are exploring the substances that induce the increasing expression of this enzyme.
